The FAQ

What should we wear?

Do try to wear complementary colors. You don't have to match but it does look nice when the colors or patterns don't compete with each other. Keep everything simple and muted so that your outfit is not the first thing you see in photo's. I want the photo's to focus on you! Also do wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in. It might not be the best time to wear brand new heels or something that doesn't feel like you! Besides the point is to document the true YOU!

While I do believe you should stay true to yourself, I would recommend against anything with logos or heavy prints. I would also say to dress up a bit from your usual casual attire! So I would suggest wear your favorite pair of sweatpants after the session! Remember your shoes will usually be in some photo's so try to avoid sneakers and go for a dressier look.

Other reminders are; Please remember to take your wallet or cellphone out of your pockets! Also remember to remove hair ties around your wrist and spit out your chewing gum! Those little details sometimes stand out.

We are so awkward in photos. Will you pose us?

Almost everyone thinks they are awkward in photos! Really! I especially think that, so I know how you feel.
I won't stiffly pose you but what I will do is guide and direct you. I'll give you prompts and keep us laughing so nothing feels awkward.
But my biggest advice is to let go of looking picture perfect and just to focus on the moment, the feelings, and documenting the true YOU in the moment!

Do you retouch photos?

Yes! However normally I do let natural beauty shine! So I do not automatically retouch double chins, pimples, or anything that wasn't your true self during the session! However, you can special request this service.

What location do you recommend for photo's?

My answer to this will be unique to you! Maybe think of a location that has meaning to you. A special park, a favorite coffee shop or even your own home!
My only preference is that if the photo's are outside to aim for good lighting! Either a cloudy day or some coverage from the sun or just before sunset at "golden hour" are my favorites!

How long have you been doing this?

I have worked as a Graduation Photographer since 2015, however I have been capturing special moments since 2018 when my daughter was born.

How many photos do we get?

Depending on the session you will get between 40-2000 professionally edited high resolution photos that you are able to download and print out.

How do we get our photos?

A private online gallery will be sent to you for you to instantly download and share your images with family & friends. You are able to print out high resolution photos.
